Common questions before you buy

Does this work on all BD directory sites?

Yes. The Visibility Engine runs as a DirectoryCustomize widget on any Brilliant Directories site. It layers on top of native BD profile pages.

Do I need to write any code?

No. Everything is configured through the DirectoryCustomize admin panel -- mode selection, CTA content, design, and rules. Zero code.

Will it break when BD releases platform updates?

No. The Visibility Engine receives auto-updates through the DirectoryCustomize update system. When BD changes something, we adapt the widget and push the update to your site.

Can I set different rules for different membership plans?

Yes. The rules engine supports matching on Viewer Plan ID and Viewed Profile Plan ID. Use the plan picker in the rule builder to select by name.

Does gating affect SEO?

No. The full profile HTML is served to search engines. Gating is applied client-side after the page renders, so indexed content stays intact.

What are the pricing options?

Three options: $20/month (cancel any time, $50 one-time setup fee, updates + support included), $200/year (setup fee waived, save $90 vs monthly, updates + support included), or $640 lifetime (setup fee waived, one-time payment, lifetime updates included, optional support plan available). Same features on every plan -- the only difference is billing and support.

Why is there a setup fee?

We install and configure the Visibility Engine on your live site, verify it works with your specific theme and widgets, and make sure nothing breaks. That takes real hands-on time from our team -- the $50 covers that work. If you go annual or lifetime, we waive the setup fee entirely as a thank-you for the commitment.
